It begins with forgiveness
The stories we encounter bear witness to a profound truth: The journey towards healing begins with forgiveness.
It is through Jesus Christ that we find the initial forgiveness for our own sins. Jesus, our guide and mediator, leads us to the ultimate destination. He paves the way, showing us the path to reconciliation, restoration, and a deep connection with our Heavenly Father.
Experiencing forgiveness ourselves enables us to extend that forgiveness to those who have wronged us. In embracing forgiveness, we liberate ourselves to breathe freely, to truly live, and to love once again. However, this truth only unfolds fully when we find our way to the Father, the ultimate source of forgiveness and reconciliation.
How do I put my faith in Jesus?
Here is a short guide.
God tells us, that everyone who calls on His name will be saved. Romans 10:13
In fact, Jesus made it clear that He was not sent into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it! John 3:17
For God so loved the world that he gave Jesus, his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
The steps to faith in Jesus is that simple.
God loved you so much that He sent His son.
God gave His Son Jesus as the final sacrifice for your sins.
You believe that Jesus is that final sacrifice, then
You receive Jesus as your Saviour and eternal life
Sincerely pray this prayer with all your heart.
Lord Jesus, for too long I have kept You out of my life. I know today that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear You knocking. I repent of my sin; I turn my back on my old life. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust You as my Lord and Savior. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe that You are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of salvation and eternal life. I believe Your words are true.
Lord Jesus, enter my heart and be my Savior. Come teach me to love the things You love and to hate the things you hate.
Amen.
